Recently, JSSA hosted our annual Community Impact Fund event – Turn the Tide on Mental Health Stigma. During the event, several people shared their stories of hope and perseverance, and how they helped break the stigma associated with seeking help for mental health challenges.

We hope you are inspired to share your story and #BeAVoice to ensure no one suffers in silence because they are afraid to ask for help. One in five Americans has a mental illness, but less than half of those people actually seek help for their illness. By sharing our stories, we help to normalize mental health treatment and empower those suffering to seek the help they need.
