A child’s presence during court proceedings may not be beneficial to their mental health or family relationships, especially if court matters are sensitive in nature. JSSA is privileged to partner with the Montgomery County Circuit Court to provide a safe, secure space for young children to play while their parents/guardians handle business in the Court. This service is offered free of charge for children ages 2 to 12.
This service is not available for parents or guardians serving on jury duty. No appointments are required for this family support service.

How to Use Kids Spot
Kids Spot is located in Room 1440 South Tower of the Montgomery County Circuit Court. Parents/guardians should allow 15 minutes to complete the registration forms. Children must be picked up as soon as court business has concluded or when Kids Spot closes.
OPEN MONDAY – FRIDAY
8:00 AM – 12:30 PM; 1:15 PM – 5:00 PM
*Kids Spot is only open when the court is open.
All children must be picked up by 5:00 PM, even if court proceedings are still ongoing. This service is offered free to families with business in the court. Kids Spot is not available for children of jurors or court employees.
